62 times 3: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
We can get lost in our busy lives, never looking at the bigger picture or even asking a question. In fact, we’re constantly on the run from ourselves, our feelings, and most likely, the world around us. So, if we really want to have a meaningful relationship with life and ourselves, we have to get in the habit of thinking.
This is the main reason why I think mindfulness meditation is so helpful. We can start by asking, “what is it that is keeping me from living a more meaningful life?” Then we can try to take small steps towards doing that.
In other words, getting the habit of asking questions is about getting in the habit of thinking. This is something that many people can take a long time to do. In fact, I think that it takes more time than any other practice. You have to start by asking yourself questions that you are actually really interested in, and you have to do it consistently. You have to be able to do it consistently so you can keep doing it.
I think it’s important to remember that the most important part of the process is to start asking questions, but to keep asking questions that you actually care about. This is the hardest part of the process because you have to decide that you are going to start asking questions about something that you truly care about.
This might seem like a weird thing to say, but it’s an important part of your process to remind yourself about your own feelings, likes, dislikes, and fears. There’s a lot of stuff that I am not good at and I need to stop asking about. I’m not good at most things like being a good driver, or being a good tennis player, or being good friends with people I don’t know.
There are also a lot of things you can ask yourself that you can easily answer with “I don’t know, but I think I love this person.” That will help you be more confident about asking questions and will also give you a lot of power over your answers.
The thing is that it’s so easy to stop and reflect on your own feelings, likes, dislikes, and fears when you’re so busy trying to feel good about yourself, and that’s when you’re most likely to get stuck. It can be hard to keep this up.
When we feel something that doesn’t make sense to us, we’re more likely to keep it in, but when we’re stuck in it, we can often just feel it without putting it into words. The only way to be able to truly feel what you’re feeling is to stop and think a bit about it.
This is what makes blogging so powerful. The moment you set your mind to start writing something, you can’t stop. You see there’s a reason why blogs like these exist. When you create something, you can’t stop.
I remember thinking recently that if we ever got tired of blogging, we might be able to get into our favorite hobby and just post things over and over again. We can write a blog, and we can write a blog, and then we can write a blog… and then we can write a blog… and then we can do a blog, and then we can do a blog…
