I know that most people who work in marketing and advertising know how important it is to get it right. I know that they have a lot of thoughts for how to get it right. I know that a lot of people don’t really take the time to really consider the potential of programmatic advertising and how it can help you.
Of course, programmatic advertising helps you. It allows you to do business with companies that don’t have to deal with the expensive, slow, and tedious process of traditional advertising in order to get a “hit.” When you can buy a piece of inventory and not have to have a brick and mortar storefront in order to do the sale, you can save a lot of money.
Programmatic advertising is usually defined by the way the companies can pay for it. Often, it is done through a program called “pay per impression” (PPI). This means that instead of paying companies to buy something, you can actually pay them to get someone to do something. In other words, you can get something for free. This is extremely useful for sites that get a lot of traffic, but not a lot of sales.
One of the more interesting examples of a company that has benefitted from PPI is Amazon. It is a company that pays for every click they get from a user (which isn’t much at all) in order to advertise the product. It gets a lot of clicks, but not a lot of sales.
