Our store was always a two-sided affair. We would have two different styles of inventory. One was full of high quality merchandise. The other was for sale to the public. We had these huge piles of stuff that we would sell for $10 a pop. At the end of your buying a couple of them, and you would be out of there. We were always trying to add to the store, and add to the inventory.

There’s a story to this. We were in the business of consigning merchandise. We would sell the stuff to the public, then we would sell that to the customer. So one day we were at the counter, we had a couple of people waiting. We were in the middle of our inventory, and we were in the middle of our sale. The guy behind the counter said to us, “hey, look what I have!” He was a great businessman.
