When I first started playing the game, I knew it was a good idea to just play it in the background, or to start out with a set of traps. However, once you start playing it, it’s just not as good as a strategy. You don’t need to set it up to fail, but you need to set it up to make it fail.

I know this sounds bad, but you can’t be too hard on them. The only reason why they can be so bad at what they do is because they don’t have a clue, but thats their problem, not yours. The only thing you can do to help them is to let them have something to do. In this case, you have to let them have an island they can never use because it’s a time loop and they have no idea what they are doing.
The Visionaries were not necessarily always bad, but they were always a small problem in the end. And because the islands were a time loop, they could never understand what they were doing. You can’t really help them, because they won’t be able to figure it out.
But you can give them some cool powers. An example of this is the ability to see things. I have a friend who is a great hacker, and he has a really neat ability to see things in the sky. He says his powers are mostly “seeing” because he can see things in the sky and he can also see the future. You could imagine this as a time loop where he sees the future and it’s a time loop.
