I’ve been editing text for the past ten years, and I’m still learning. This one is a bit of an odd one because I started editing on all three levels. I guess I’ve always had good editing skills (not necessarily a skill, but a habit I formed), but my past edits were more like editing with a pen and paper.
The one Ive edited for the past ten years is the sentence of editing. I started as a copy editor at a publishing company, and then moved to another position. I worked at a number of places, and then moved to one where I worked with people who were not published, but who were responsible for editing and proofreading papers.
I always thought editing was a somewhat mechanical process. I think my first editor was really nice, and I was so impressed with him that I think I edited the first 50 pages I worked on in two days. Well, half of the first 50 pages.
My first editor was a very nice man. But it’s because he was nice that I think he was the first to understand what I was doing. There’s a lot of work involved, and I’m not very good at it, but I hope I’ve learned a lot from it.
I’ve been editing for a while, but I never thought about how difficult it was. I think a lot of people who edit for a living are really just being lazy. They just don’t have the patience to do it right, and that’s okay as long as you have the patience to do it right.
So I’m a lazy person. So what? Im just asking if lazy people are the ones who edit. I’m not saying lazy people have to edit, or that lazy people aren’t good editors, but I’m more curious about how lazy people edit.

In fact, the only reason we ever edit is because we like to edit. But we never thought about how difficult it was.
Editing is one of the most difficult and repetitive of tasks in the world. We use this word because we are so proud of how much our writing improves because we edit. We love editing, but we don’t think it’s easy. And we think it’s bad form to judge the difficulty of something that we’re proud of. So we never think, “man, I wish I could just edit.
So is editing difficult? Probably. But we do it because we love it. Editing is a form of deep meditation, and it’s also one of the most important forms of deep meditation. It is also a form of self-critical reflection. And we always make sure to show our readers how we are feeling, what we are thinking, and what we are doing.
The reason why we think it’s bad form to judge the difficulty of something is because we are also judging ourselves. We are making a judgment not just about the difficulty of something we wanted to do, but also about how difficult it is to do it. We’re judging ourselves because we, in our own minds, have to be like a hamster on the wheel running at full speed just to get from point A to point B.
